Mortgage Rates Today is pleased to announce our academic scholarship application process below.
Applicant Information
Applicants must:
- Be in good academic standing with a “C” average or higher and enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours for the semester/trimester.
- Be accepted to an accredited US college or university, copy of the letter of acceptance from an institution with the application.
- Submit a 500-word essay stating “How Can We Help Less Fortunate in Our Communities”
- Previous scholarship applicants or winners are eligible to re-apply for the current year.
Who is Eligible?
All college/university students already enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program for 2023. Employees of Mortgage Rates Today and their immediate families are not eligible.
When will you be notified?
Your application will be judged on the level of creativity and persuasiveness, as well as how informative it is. A panel composed of Mortgage Rates Today Executives will select the winners after evaluating all candidates.
The deadline is Nov 1st 2023. Winners will be notified in writing by Nov 30th, 2023. The educational institution will receive the money directly from Mortgage Rates Today. All decisions are final.
How much is each scholarship?
The 2023 academic scholarship is a one-time-only grant of $750 put towards their academic costs. There is 1 grant given out per year. All scholarships will be disbursed directly to the student’s college/university and must be used for undergraduate/graduate studies.
Each student who wins a scholarship must present a letter of acceptance from their institution in order to receive the award.
